Mattel is destroying rainforests for toy packaging.

It's not all fun and games for Indonesia's rainforests.
Mattel, the world's biggest toy company, is wrapping Barbie in rainforest destruction by buying from notorious forest destroyer Asia Pulp and Paper.

Greenpeace investigations have revealed that the world's largest toy maker – Mattel – uses packaging that comes from forest destruction. Mattel sources its paper products from Asia Pulp & Paper (APP) – the notorious Indonesian forest destroyer. To wrap Barbie in cheap, throw-away packaging, Indonesia's forests are being destroyed, climate change is accelerating and endangered species, such as the Sumatran Tiger, are losing vital habitat. There used to be 3 tiger species that existed in Indonesia. But not anymore. Only the Sumatran Tiger remains and there are only around 400 left. Let’s make sure they don’t meet the same fate.

Ken dumped Barbie once he discovered she was wrapped in a forest scandal.
