Protect the Vaquita

14/12/2014 16:03

The vaquita is a rare porpoise that lives only in the Gulf of California in Mexico. They're shy and rarely seen - except when they are pulled up to the surface, dead, in nets.

Destructive fishing is responsible for driving the vaquita towards extinction.

There are just 97 vaquitas left in the wild. But Mexican President Peña Nieto has the power to protect their habitat and save them. Send an urgent message to him now and ask him to act.
