Global Warming

125,00 years ago, there were lions and elephants in Europe.

At that time, the climate was 3ºC hotter than today and forests covered Greenland.

Soon, it may be 3ºC hotter again. But this time the change isn't happening naturally. It's happening because of pollution... and very, very quickly.

Cars and factories are responsible for a great amount of pollution. They can also be very dangerous for people, wiIdIife and the environment.

Two serious pollution problems are acid rain and the Greenhouse Effect.

We can still beat climate change and have a better life. But we need big action from governments and industry - now.

If we do the right things, we could reap huge benefits: better health, new jobs and industries and secure energy supplies.
